These ducks are a response to how plastic ducks, bottle caps, dummies, hair curlers, tampon applicators, drinking straws get washed up in the strand line along the River Severn . To question what happens to our objects when we are finished with them. Those fragments of plastics waste that will be around in rivers and oceans long after we pass away. This is a problem that is not going away and effects health of the poorest people in the world. What happens to them, happens to us and ultimately the whole world.
These are a limited edition of ‘one-off’ ducks (made on commission) and each one will vary in it’s contents. 100% of all the proceeds will go towards the charity Tearfund who are helping communities in Pakistan to clean and stop burning there waste.
